With our complete line of advanced ultrasonic sensors, we have the most versatile, accurate and effective solutions for the toughest applications and challenges. Ultrasonic sensors use sound waves and this makes them ideal for problematic clear material sensing applications. Ultrasonic sensors also effectively sense liquids and targets in dirty environments. Ultrasonic sensors are inherently impervious to colour differences, high reflectivity and glare, all of which are application challenges for photoelectric sensors.
Try the U-Gage range to see how our complete line of versatile, accurate and effective ultrasonic solutions can solve your toughest sensing challenges. With measuring ranges from 30mm to 8m and resolutions as small as 0.5mm, we have the sensor to solve your application. Our ultrasonic sensors are even versatile in outputs, some models offer analog and discrete outputs in the same sensor and we have multi-voltage AC/DC versions in the product range.
About Ultrasonic Sensors
Ultrasonic sensors emit a pulse of energy which travels at the speed of sound. A portion of this energy is reflected off a target and travels back to the sensor. The sensor measures the total time required for the energy to reach the target and return to the sensor and calculates the distance from the sensor to the target.
